This beautiful sterling silver pendent was handcrafted by Navajo artist Betta Lee using a large genuine Charoite stone that is set into a smooth sterling silver bezel. The pendent is adorned with twisted sterling silver rope and hand saw cut designs around the edges. The pendent is approximately 2.75" L x 1.5" W and the bail can accommodate a necklace that is approximately 0.5" W. This pendent is stamped and signed by the artist.
Charoite is a very rare mineral only found in one area within Siberia, Russia. This stone is known for its' vibrant purple color and radiant swirls. It is named after the Russian word Chary which means "magic", and is said to represent the conversion of negative emotions into positive actions and it is even said to have some protective and energizing properties. Because of its rarity Charoite is very valuable and sought after.
