This breathtaking sterling silver pendent was handcrafted by Navajo artist Charles Johnson using genuine stone inlay of white buffalo turquoise, wild horse turquoise, petrified wood, jasper, and tiger eye stones. Each stone is separated by a black jet channel and the entire inlay portion is set into a twisted sterling silver bezel. The rest of the pendent is adorned with sterling silver stamping, twisted silver rope designs, and scalloping. The overall pendent is approximately 1.75" L x 1.5" W, with the inlay portion being approximately 1" L x 0.75" W. The bail can fit a necklace that is approximately 0.5" W. This pendent is signed by the artist and stamped.
Charles Johnson has been a silversmith since the age of 13, learning techniques from his mother who is a 5th generation silversmith, and his father who is a 2nd generation silver smith. Charles includes both traditional and contemporary designs in his jewelry, along with popular western designs.
